The first project was an official Project Rock gear bag, which is now sold out, according to the projects official website. The Rock Clock app is the second project released in a series of four. "The Rock" and app developer 7 Bucks Entertainment left the snooze button off of the Rock Clock on purpose. 'The Rocks' new Rock Clock app is part of a motivational project called Project Rock, a new lifestyle brand created by 'The Rock' in partnership with Under Armour. "Your mornings will never be the same again, sunshine. The Rock Clock app doesn't even have a snooze button. But "The Rock" makes claims that you'll never need the snooze button again with the Rock Clock. In fact, some older adults say that after age 50, they no longer use an alarm clock, but would hit the snooze button two or three times at age 25. "Older adults tend to sleep more lightly and for shorter time spans than do younger adults." The Mayo Clinic says older adults usually need the same amount of sleep as younger adults, but sleeping patterns change as we age. The Business Insider reported in January that people who can't get out of bed when the alarm goes off usually don't get the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep every night, and results of a survey posted on the Rockport Pilot show that 10.5 percent of participants hit the snooze button more than twice. ![]()
